Wrinkle Relaxers
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are three of the leading neuromodulator (aka neurotoxins) brands on the market. These cosmetic treatments are designed to smooth wrinkles and fine lines for a refreshed, youthful appearance. When injected into targeted muscles, it temporarily reduces muscle activity, softening the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions. By relaxing overactive facial muscles, neuromodulators deliver natural-looking results without downtime.
Common treatment areas include:
Forehead lines
Crow’s feet (lines around the eyes)
Frown lines (between the eyebrows, also called “11s”)
Bunny lines (lines on side of nose when smiling)

To reduce the chance of bruising, consider taking oral Arnica tablets a few days prior to appointment. Also avoid the following for two days prior to your treatment (unless medically contraindicated): Alcoholic beverages, NSAIDs (Advil, Aleve), Aspirin, and Vitamin E supplements.

Vigorous exercise, excessive sun, and heat exposure until the following day.
Can men get Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin too?
Yes! We love our male patients. Everyone deserves the opportunity to look and feel their best.
Why do you use the word Botox when you offer different brands?
Botox was the first wrinkle relaxer available on the market and has the most name recognition. Not to mention, neuromodulators, neurotoxins, and wrinkle relaxers are a mouth-full. When we use the word Botox, know that we’re typically referring to all the wrinkle relaxers we use.
Which wrinkle relaxer is right for me?
It all depends! We will have a thorough consultation process prior to starting any treatment, so we can decide which brand best suits your needs, budget, and treatment goals.
What if I don’t like my results?
For first time patients, we always start with a conservative dosing while we learn your face and anatomy. From there, we have a check-in at two weeks post-injection and can touch-up your treatment until optimal results are achieved.
If you try Botox once and decide the treatment is not right for you, there is no issue with not returning for future treatment. After 3-4 months, your muscles and face will return to their baseline before the treatment was completed.
Patient satisfaction is of the utmost importance. At Ferrari Facial Aesthetics, we pride ourselves on being available via phone or text for any possible post-op complications, questions, or concerns. Peace of mind is paramount when it comes to your face.
